Verses True

Children scream their silent dream
And nightmares scare the smiles that beam
On faces long forlorn and gray
To scorn the ash in Sunny May

Purple portions, vast horizons
Skies arise where danger lies
Concealed in bitter tears of night
Our fears allay in pools of light

Dressed in dawn, the stars march on
To other countries' midnight hours
Wrapped in time, the towers shine,
Reflect in oceans smooth as wine

Gracious Kings, to summer sing
A hymn of bounteous delight
While Saints await the Pearly Gate
And pray survive the winter white
